The setup of the process and the selection of equipment for a sand and gravel aggregate production line are a crucial part of modern aggregate mine production. In the sand and gravel aggregate production lines produced by our company, equipment such as jaw crushers, sand makers, and vibrating screens are indispensable. Continuously innovating and developing to meet the market demand for sand and gravel aggregates, an excellent production line can produce sand and gravel aggregates of different specifications. The complete production line is composed of four major systems: feeding system, crushing and sand-making system, screening system, and sorting system. From the raw stone entering the initial processing to forming, achieving uniform particle size and strong compatibility. The specific process flow is as follows:
1. Pre-treatment
In this stage, hammering is primarily used to pre-crush large materials in the raw aggregate, and sorting is carried out for unsuitable debris, removing waste wood, plastic stools, and other miscellaneous items to facilitate the next processing step. Initial magnetic separation is also performed to remove scrap iron from the aggregates.
2. Crushing and Sand-making
First, a jaw crusher is used for the primary crushing of raw materials, with a vibrating feeder evenly feeding the materials. The jaw crusher uses the motion of its two jaws to crush large sand and gravel aggregates into smaller particles. This equipment has a large crushing ratio, and the processing capacity can be adjusted according to user requirements, with a production capacity of up to 2200t/h, fully capable of handling large-scale aggregate crushing. The coarsely crushed material is transported to an intermediate storage pile by conveying equipment. It can then be further crushed and shaped by a sand making and shaping machine, producing sand and gravel aggregates with uniform particle size.
3. Primary Screening
In this stage, a circular vibrating screen is used to separate the coarsely crushed concrete aggregate into blocks of 0-40mm and powdery material below 5mm. The collected coarse aggregate of 5-40mm can be directly used for general C15-C20 concrete production. Fine aggregate can be conveyed to an intermediate storage pile for the next processing step.
4. Secondary Crushing and Screening
Secondary crushing can be performed using a ball mill to crush the fine aggregate again. Secondary screening separates the crushed aggregate into high-quality recycled aggregates of 5-20mm, suitable for C25-C30 concrete production. Tertiary screening separates high-quality recycled fine aggregates of 0.15-5mm and micro-fine powders below 0.15mm.
